Blessed

December 26, 2014

Blessed

I’m so blessed by Your Hands;
You’ve done so much for me!
Just reading Your Word
Countless blessings I see.

I’ve salvation through Your Son,
And redemption through His Blood
I’m a new man in Christ
And adopted by God.

I’ve a home with my LORD
In this body or out,
And the comfort of the Spirit
Which allays all my doubt.

I’ve a family in Jesus,
Siblings in Christ,
The privilege of praying,
Together in new life.

All these blessings eternal
Compare not to gold;
I’d trade them for nothing
That’s borrowed or sold.

I’m So Unworthy

 I’m So Unworthy

I’m so unworthy to come before Thee
I’m so unworthy to find that You’ve forgiven my sins.
I’m so unworthy that Your Word is for me
And that it tells me that Christ lives now within.

I’m so unworthy to be heard by Thee.
As I, unworthy, approach Your Holy Throne of Grace.
I’m so unworthy: Your Sceptre’s toward me
And I come closer through Christ by Whom I’m saved.

Another Verse for “O Jesus, Thou art Standing”

Fall 2014

(Spin on “O Jesus, Thou art Standing” a hymn)

O Jesus Thou art standing
Now close within my heart.
Be 'throned in glorious honor,
And never, Savior, depart.
Blessed be Thy Mighty Name,
LORD, Thou alone art my God!
Thou hast been my Guide and Shield, LORD,
As on this earth I have trod.

("O Jesus Thou Art Standing was written by William W. How, Edward Husband, and Justin H. Knecht.  The tune is St. Hilda.)
